Dinant, a charming town in Wallonia in the province of Namur, is full of treasures for families looking for outdoor activities. Among the many options available, Dinant Aventure stands out as an unmissable destination for a day full of excitement and discovery for a 10-year-old child.
A unique adventure park with personalised supervision for your children
Dinant Aventure offers a variety of activities for all ages (from 8 upwards), far from the usual "museum visit". The park offers a 100% natural interlude far from the hustle and bustle of the city, an open-air playground on an exceptional estate classified as a Natura 2000 zone. Its secure facilities guarantee unforgettable moments with family and friends. All this just 30 minutes by car from the city of Namur.
One of the great assets of the treetop trekking park is the support it provides for its customers. Each adventurer/group of adventurers is guided by an experienced instructor who shows you the way, looks after your safety, gives you a few tips and encourages you, all in good humour.
It's a great way to treat the kids, but you'd rather stay on dry land and wave to them from afar!
And if, in the end, you want to join them on the monkey bridge but aren't sure you'll be able to clear all the obstacles on the course, you should know that all the park's courses are flexible. So it is possible to bypass an obstacle by leaving the tree circuit for a few moments before joining it again and resuming the activities. Reassuring, isn't it?
5 Challenges at different levels for children of all ages
Minimum ages vary from course to course, between 8 and 12. Is your child 10? Then they can take part in 3 of the park's challenges:
- The kids Challenge (min. age 8) : Climbing course for the youngest explorers including an induction session, several monkey bridge crossings, the descent of the cable car for controlled sensations and an underground course full of pitfalls!
- The Ardenne Challenge (min. age 10) : The best-selling challenge with a good thrill/comfort ratio. On this course, you will have the chance to cross a 100-metre-long bridge offering a breathtaking view over the Dinant valley.
- The Mont-Blanc Challenge (min. age 10) :
- This challenge is ideal for people who like to get moving and are looking for new thrills at the end of a spring hook ...
The Alpes and Annapurnachallenges are taken up a notch with the impressive Via Vita course, featuring large zip lines and a vertiginous obstacle course suspended 4 meters from the ground! The Alpes and Annapurna are accessible to children aged 12 and over.
